Teri Velasco Had A Dream. Having Grown Up in Marin County and Being the Restaurant Business Her Entire Life, She Always Wanted A Restaurant of Her Own. She Had Traveled Extensively Throughout Mexico and Gained A Wealth of Experience While Working At Two Well-Known Restaurants in Marin, Celia’s and Fernando’s. When Her 40th Birthday Came Around She Decided the Time Was Right – It Was Now or Never. Teri Along With Her Brother-In-Law Opened the Doors To Velasco’s North of the Border in 1999. After Seven Years of Running the Business Together, Teri Has Assumed Complete Ownership and Her Dream Has Come True. the Dream Has Become Her Reality, “i’m So Blessed To Have This Opportunity. I Love Petaluma and I Love My Customers. Thanks To Them I’ve Been Able To Create an Inviting Atmosphere for Families and Am Able To Deliver Great Food and Service At Reasonable Prices.” .
